Tuning the Low Pass Filter Feature
This section describes how to tune the Low Pass Filter feature to control the low-pass filters (LPFs) of the sharpness module within a DC9400.
Before you begin
- The details view contains the Low Pass Filter table for
sharpness.
To tune this feature, you need to choose in the Features view. For more details, see Tuning a DC9400 Feature.

Note: Lpf0 corresponds to LPF 1, Lpf1 corresponds to LPF 2, and Lpf2 corresponds to LPF3. For details about these LPFs, see Vivante DC9400 Hardware Architecture and Features. - A VTunerServer is accessible.

Procedure
Next to Sharp Lpf Coef for each LPF, click
View/Edit this Table and edit the coefficients in the
prompted dialog.
The LPF performs filtering based on the coefficients specified in the table as
shown in Figure 2.

You can use one of the following methods to update each Low Pass
Filter table:
- Double-click and edit a cell in the table to update a single value.
- Click Edit and update the values in the prompted
Edit Table dialog.
The values must be specified in the same order as the table columns and separated by a comma (,).
- Click Export to export the values to a
.csvfile, edit the file, and then import the updated values from the.csvfile.The order of the values in the exported
.csvfile is the same as that in the table.
Results
- The tuning results are printed in the Console view in real time.
- The image displayed on the VTunerServer side is updated.
